Marc-Elliott Pierre-Louis (Sensorial Architecture)
Posted in Visual, Art, Design, Video on June 28th, 2007. By Ona Vinyamata.

Marc-Elliot is a sensory architect and a vusician. A visual alchemist.
We believe that Pierre-Louis’ work, framed in the fields of marketing, entertainment and environmental design, is based in the neurological condition of Synesthesia: that in which two or more bodily senses are coupled, causing to hear colors, feel sounds or taste shapes, for example.
Based on this, Pierre-Louis’ work in Scensory (owner and director) is to explore through pioneering technologies the use of sound, video and olfactory media as building materials to construct dynamic environments that enhance or transform the sensory characteristics of a space.
Since 1997, he has created sensory environments for such diverse clients as the EuroDisney theme park, DaimlerChrysler or Guerlain.
While continuing to cater to a mostly European clientele, Marc-Elliott recently returned to North America to share his latest vision: vusic, “music’s unseen dimension that has yet to be truly expressed and experienced”. Described as “music-driven video staging”, Marc-Elliott’s mission with Vusic is to render this dimension visible by interpreting musical scales, tempos and variations into dynamic visual expressions that orchestrate an engaging visual score that is powerfully painted on the canvas of 3D space.
Marc-Eliott Pierre-Louis is more than a visual inspiration. He inspires a change in the point of view, the courage to mix sensorial dimensions and to communicate from what appears to be a natural form of virtual reality.
