Old News vs. New News

As in one part of the world, young journalists are complaining about confusing times for newsmakers, in the other part journalists get over their crisis, take the moment and create something new: In Japan, a new digital news platform was launched, a collaboration of several newspapers. Called 47news, it offers one single access to 52 member newspapers. This is possible not only through a letting go of old values of traditional paper print newspapers, but also through the co-operation of news companies.
`Learn how to deliver your content across every new technology that comes into view on the horizon […]’ advices a list of the `10 obvious things about the future of newspapers you need to get through your head‘ and closes: `So let’s stop writing and groaning about how things used to be different, and let’s start building our own piece of the world of newspapers brick by brick, story by story.’ Start making new news.
